I came across a post today on lifehacker about making a terrarium in a wine bottle, this got me looking around at different sites about making terrariums and there are some pretty interesting designs and ideas floating around out there. I particularly like the ones inside light bulbs. It seems like a pretty simple project, low maintenance, looks good around the house, and has the added bonus of being enclosed (cats wont eat the plants and regurgitate them all over the house).

I always seem to find projects I want to do late at night and this either ends with me staying up late to try to finish theme in one sitting, or putting it off and forgetting about it completely.

So I’ve decided to create a todo list on this site. I’m thinking it will ultimately evolve into a bucket list. A catalog of ideas for rainy days, places to go, things to see. Starting small: Item #1, terrarium.
